51Havethisattitudeain yourselveswhich was also in 2ChristJesus,
6who, although He 3existed in the 4form of God, 5did not regardequality with God a thing to be bgrasped,
but c6emptiedHimself, taking the form of a 7bond-servant, and 8beingmade in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man, 9He humbledHimself by becoming10obedient to the point of death, even11deathdon a cross.
912For thisreasonalso, God13highlyexalted Him, and bestowed on Him 14the name which is aboveeveryname,
10so that at the name of Jesus15EVERYKNEE WILL BOW, of 16those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that everytongue will confess that JesusChrist is 17Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12Sothen, my beloved, 18just as you have alwaysobeyed, not as in my presenceonly, but nowmuchmore in my absence, work out your 19salvation with 20fear and trembling ;
for it is 21God who is at work in you, both to will and to work22for His goodpleasure.
15so that you will eprove yourselves to be 24blameless and innocent, 25children of Godabovereproach in the midst of a 26crooked and perversegeneration, amongwhom you f27appear as glights in the world,
16holdinghfast the word of life, so that in 28the day of Christ I will have reason to glorybecause I did not 29run in vainnor30toil in vain.
