6 who, although He 1existed in the 2form of God, 3did not regard equality with God a thing to be agrasped, 7 but b4emptied Himself, taking the form of a 5bond-servant, and 6being made in the likeness of men. 8 Being found in appearance as a man, 7He humbled Himself by becoming 8obedient to the point of death, even 9death con a cross. 9 10For this reason also, God 11highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him 12the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus 13EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of 14those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is 15Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 So then, my beloved, 16just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your 17salvation with 18fear and trembling ; 13 for it is 19God who is at work in you, both to will and to work 20for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without 21grumbling or disputing ; 15 so that you will dprove yourselves to be 22blameless and innocent, 23children of God above reproach in the midst of a 24crooked and perverse generation, among whom you e25appear as flights in the world, 16 holding gfast the word of life, so that in 26the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not 27run in vain nor 28toil in vain.
