6who, although He 1existed in the 2form of God, 3did not regardequality with God a thing to be agrasped,
but b4emptiedHimself, taking the form of a 5bond-servant, and 6beingmade in the likeness of men.
Being found in appearance as a man, 7He humbledHimself by becoming8obedient to the point of death, even9deathcon a cross.
910For thisreasonalso, God11highlyexalted Him, and bestowed on Him 12the name which is aboveeveryname,
10so that at the name of Jesus13EVERYKNEE WILL BOW, of 14those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that everytongue will confess that JesusChrist is 15Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12Sothen, my beloved, 16just as you have alwaysobeyed, not as in my presenceonly, but nowmuchmore in my absence, work out your 17salvation with 18fear and trembling ;
for it is 19God who is at work in you, both to will and to work20for His goodpleasure.
15so that you will dprove yourselves to be 22blameless and innocent, 23children of Godabovereproach in the midst of a 24crooked and perversegeneration, amongwhom you e25appear as flights in the world,
16holdinggfast the word of life, so that in 26the day of Christ I will have reason to glorybecause I did not 27run in vainnor28toil in vain.
