Unjust Judgments Rebuked.

1 God takes His ¹stand in ^aHis own congregation ; He ²judges in the midst of the ^b³rulers. 2 How long will you ⁴judge unjustly And ⁵show partiality to the wicked ? ^cSelah. 3 ⁶Vindicate the weak and fatherless ; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. 4 ⁷Rescue the weak and needy ; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. 5 They ⁸do not know nor do they understand ; They ⁹walk about in darkness ; All the ¹⁰foundations of the earth are shaken. 6 ^dI ¹¹said, "You are gods, And all of you are ¹²sons of the Most High. 7 "Nevertheless ¹³you will die like men And fall like any ¹⁴one of the princes." 8 ¹⁵Arise, O God, ¹⁶judge the earth ! For it is You who ¹⁷possesses all the nations.
