Psalm 1:1-3 (New American Standard)

BOOK 1

The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.

1 How blessed is the man who 1 does not walk in the 2 counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the a3 path of sinners, Nor 4 sit in the seat of scoffers ! 2 But his 5delight is 6in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates 7day and 8night. 3 He will be like 9a tree firmly planted by bstreams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its cleaf does not wither ; And din whatever he does, 10he prospers.
