Psalms 28
1
To You, O LORD , I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, For if You are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit.
2
Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You for help, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
3
Do not drag me away with the wicked And with those who work iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, While evil is in their hearts.
4
Requite them according to their work and according to the evil of their practices; Requite them according to the deeds of their hands; Repay them their recompense.
5
Because they do not regard the works of the LORD Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.
6
Blessed be the LORD , Because He has heard the voice of my supplication.
7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
8
The LORD is their strength, And He is a saving defense to His anointed.
9
Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever .

Psalms 47
1
O clap your hands, all peoples; Shout to God with the voice of joy.
2
For the LORD Most High is to be feared, A great King over all the earth.
3
He subdues peoples under us And nations under our feet.
4
He chooses our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom He loves. Selah.
5
God has ascended with a shout, The LORD , with the sound of a trumpet.
6
Sing praises to God, sing praises; Sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7
For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with a skillful psalm.
8
God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne.
9
The princes of the people have assembled themselves as the people of the God of Abraham, For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.

Praise the LORD ! Praise the LORD , O my soul!

I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
3
Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.
4
His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts perish.
5
How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the LORD his God,
6
Who made heaven and earth, The sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever;
7
Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free.
8
The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises up those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous;
9
The LORD protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked.
10
The LORD will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD !
