1 ^a¹Praise ^bthe LORD ! Praise the name of the LORD ; Praise Him, O ²servants of the LORD, 2 You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the ³courts of the house of our God ! 3 ^cPraise ^dthe LORD, for ⁴the LORD is good ; ⁵Sing praises to His name, ⁶for it is lovely. 4 For ^ethe LORD has ⁷chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His ^f⁸own possession. 5 For I know that ⁹the LORD is great And that our Lord is ¹⁰above all gods. 6 ¹¹Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. 7 ^gHe ¹²causes the ^hvapors to ascend from the ends of the earth ; Who ¹³makes lightnings for the rain, Who ¹⁴brings forth the wind from His treasuries.
