For we have been1consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been adismayed.
You have 2placed our iniquitiesbefore You, Our 3secret sins in the light of Your presence.
For 4all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our yearslike a bsigh.
As for the days of our clife, dthey contain seventyyears, Or if due to strength, 5eightyyears, Yet their pride is but 6labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we 7flyaway.
11Whoeunderstands the 8power of Your anger And Your fury, according to the 9fearfthat is due You?
12So10teach us to number our days, That we may g11present to You a heart of wisdom.
Do 12return, O LORD; 13howlong will it be? And hbe 14sorry for Your servants.
O 15satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may 16sing for joy and be gladall our days.
1517Make us gladiaccording to the days You have afflicted us, And the 18years we have seenjevil.
Let Your 19workappear to Your servants And Your 20majestykto their children.
Let the 21favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And l22confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, mconfirm the work of our hands.
