21Oldermen are to be 2temperate, dignified, sensible, 3sound4in faith, in love, in aperseverance.
3Olderwomenlikewise are to be reverent in their behavior, 5not maliciousgossipsnor6enslaved to muchwine, teachingwhat is good,
4so that they may bencourage the youngwomen to love their husbands, to love their children,
to be sensible, pure, 7workers at home, kind, being 8subject to their ownhusbands, 9so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
6Likewiseurge10the youngmen to be csensible;
in allthingsshowyourself to be 11an example of gooddeeds, with dpurity in doctrine, dignified,
8sound in speechwhich is beyondreproach, so12that the opponent will be put to shame, havingnothingbad to sayabout us.
Urge 13bondslaves to be subject to their ownmasters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not eargumentative,
not pilfering, but showingallgoodfaithso that they will adorn the doctrine of 14God our Savior in everyrespect.
For the grace of God has 15appeared, f16bringingsalvation to allmen,
12ginstructing us to denyungodliness and 17worldlydesires and 18to livesensibly, righteously and godly19in the presentage,
