Proverbs 3:23

23 Then you will go your way in safety, and you will not get hurt.

Proverbs 3:23 Meaning and Commentary

Proverbs 3:23

Then shall thou walk in thy way safely
In the way of thy duty and business, without fear of any enemy; having in sight the Captain of salvation gone before, and walking in such ways of pleasantness and peace as Wisdom's are; and having such a lamp to the feet, and such a light unto the paths, as the Gospel and its doctrines be; and thy foot shall not stumble;
at the word and the truths of it, as some men do, being thereunto appointed; and at Christ, the stumbling stone laid in Zion, particularly at his justifying righteousness; see ( 1 Peter 2:8 ) ( Romans 9:33 ) .

Proverbs 3:23 In-Context

21 My child, hold on to wisdom and good sense. Don't let them out of your sight.
22 They will give you life and beauty like a necklace around your neck.
23 Then you will go your way in safety, and you will not get hurt.
24 When you lie down, you won't be afraid; when you lie down, you will sleep in peace.
25 You won't be afraid of sudden trouble; you won't fear the ruin that comes to the wicked,
