28 When they heard this, the people in the synagogue were furious. 29 Jumping up, they mobbed him and took him to the edge of the hill on which the city was built. They intended to push him over the cliff, 30 but he slipped away through the crowd and left them. 59 At that point they picked up stones to kill him. But Jesus hid himself from them and left the Temple. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, "Where are your accusers? Didn't even one of them condemn you?" 39 "Our father is Abraham," they declared. "No," Jesus replied, "for if you were children of Abraham, you would follow his good example.
