1 Listen! The ’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. 2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.
57 And they were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.” 58 And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.
3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.
22 And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.
