Exodus 2:21-22

21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah in marriage.

Numbers 14:30-34

30 not one of you shall come into the land in which I swore to settle you, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
31 But your little ones, who you said would become booty, I will bring in, and they shall know the land that you have despised.
32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.
33 And your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years, and shall suffer for your faithlessness, until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness.
34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for every day a year, you shall bear your iniquity, forty years, and you shall know my displeasure."

Matthew 23:37-39

37 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!
38 See, your house is left to you, desolate.
39 For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, "Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.' "
