32 Pues desde Jerusalén se extenderá un remanente de mi pueblo,
un grupo de sobrevivientes, desde el monte Sión.
¡El ferviente compromiso del Señor
de los Ejércitos Celestiales
hará que esto suceda!».

Isaiah 37:32

For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant
The Targum is,

``the rest of the righteous;''

the same as before; who, when the city should be free from the enemy, would go out of it, and return to their former settlements, in the several parts of Judea; a type of those who went out of Jerusalem with the Gospel of Christ, and spread it not only in Judea, but in the Gentile world:

and they that escape out of Mount Zion;
the same persons, differently described; some of whom were in the city of Jerusalem, and others in the fort of Zion, but departed from hence when the siege was broke up. The Targum is,

``and the escaped of them that confirm the law out of Mount Zion;''

the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this:
his concern for his own honour and glory, and his great love to his people, shall engage him to perform all that is here promised and foretold. The Targum is,

``by the word of the Lord of hosts this shall be done.''

30 Luego Isaías le dijo a Ezequías: «Esta es la prueba de que es cierto lo que digo:
»Este año ustedes solo comerán lo que crezca por sí mismo,
y el año próximo comerán lo que de eso brote.
Sin embargo, el tercer año, plantarán cultivos y los cosecharán;
cuidarán de sus viñedos y comerán de su fruto.

31 Y ustedes, los que quedan en Judá,
los que han escapado de los estragos del ataque,
echarán raíces en su propio suelo,
crecerán y prosperarán.

33 »Y esto dice el Señor
acerca del rey de Asiria:
»“Sus ejércitos no entrarán en Jerusalén;
ni siquiera lanzarán una sola flecha contra ella.
No marcharán fuera de sus puertas con sus escudos
ni levantarán terraplenes contra sus murallas.

34 El rey regresará a su propia tierra
por el mismo camino por donde vino.
No entrará en esta ciudad
