This is the regular burnt offering1 instituted at Mount Sinai2 as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.37
The accompanying drink offering4 is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink5 with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.68
Prepare the second lamb at twilight,7 along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning.8 This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.9
" 'On the Sabbath10 day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect,11 together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephaha12 of fine flour mixed with oil.1310
This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath,14 in addition to the regular burnt offering15 and its drink offering.
" 'On the first of every month,16 present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls,17 one ram18 and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.1912
With each bull there is to be a grain offering20 of three-tenths of an ephahb21 of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths22 of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil;
and with each lamb, a grain offering23 of a tenth24 of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering,25 a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD26 by fire.
With each bull there is to be a drink offering27 of half a hinc of wine; with the ram, a third of a hind; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon28 during the year.
Besides the regular burnt offering29 with its drink offering, one male goat30 is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.31
