1 Chronicles 18:18

And he brought the ram for the burnt offering
One of the two he was ordered to take, ( Leviticus 8:2 )

and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram;
as they had done before on the head of the bullock, see ( Leviticus 8:14 ) their right hands, as the Targum of Jonathan, and that at the same time; not first Aaron and then his sons, as a famous grammarian, Aben Ezra makes mention of, thought; but, as he himself says, they laid them on together.

1 Pasado algún tiempo, David derrotó a los filisteos y los subyugó, quitándoles el control de la ciudad de Gat y de sus aldeas.

2 También derrotó y sometió a los moabitas, los cuales pasaron a ser vasallos tributarios de David.

3 Además, David derrotó en Jamat a Hadad Ezer, rey de Sobá, cuando este se dirigía a establecer su dominio sobre la región del río Éufrates.

4 David le capturó mil carros, siete mil jinetes y veinte mil soldados de infantería; también desjarretó los caballos de tiro, aunque dejó los caballos suficientes para cien carros.

5 Luego, cuando los sirios de Damasco acudieron en auxilio de Hadad Ezer, rey de Sobá, David aniquiló a veintidós mil de ellos.
