1 Chronicles 7:22

And Ephraim their father mourned many days
For the loss of his son and grandchildren for the above fact was done while the Israelites were in Egypt, and Ephraim the patriarch yet alive; nor is there any need to suppose another Ephraim, different from him:

and his brethren came to comfort him;
some of the heads of the other tribes of Israel, particularly Manasseh, with some of his family.

20 Los descendientes de Efraín en línea directa fueron Sutela, Béred, Tajat, Eladá, Tajat,

21 Zabad, Sutela, Ezer y Elad. Los habitantes de Gad mataron a estos dos últimos porque bajaron a robarles sus ganados.

22 Durante mucho tiempo Efraín guardó luto por sus hijos, y sus parientes llegaron para consolarlo.

23 Luego se unió a su esposa, la cual concibió y le dio a luz un hijo, a quien él llamó Beriá por la desgracia que su familia había sufrido.

24 Su hija Será edificó Bet Jorón la de arriba y Bet Jorón la de abajo, y también Uzén Será.
