Daniel 3:3

Then the princes, the governors, and captains
And all the rest of the officers before mentioned, having received their orders from the king, in obedience to them, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image Nebuchadnezzar
the king had set up;
at great expense, and with much fatigue and trouble, they came from all parts to attend this great solemnity: and they stood before the image Nebuchadnezzar had set up;
they stood and looked at it, and viewed its several parts; they stood and beheld it with wonder, its richness and largeness; they stood and attended to all the rites and ceremonies of the dedication of it; they stood and were ready to fall down and worship it, when the word of command was given; so obsequious were they to the king's will.

1 El rey Nabucodonosor mandó hacer una estatua de oro, de veintisiete metros de alto por dos metros y medio de ancho, y mandó que la colocaran en los llanos de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.

2 Luego les ordenó a los sátrapas, prefectos, gobernadores, consejeros, tesoreros, jueces, magistrados y demás oficiales de las provincias que asistieran a la dedicación de la estatua que había mandado erigir.

3 Para celebrar tal dedicación, los sátrapas, prefectos, gobernadores, consejeros, tesoreros, jueces, magistrados y demás oficiales de las provincias se reunieron ante la estatua.

4 Entonces los heraldos proclamaron a voz en cuello: «A ustedes, pueblos, naciones y gente de toda lengua, se les ordena lo siguiente:

5 Tan pronto como escuchen la música de trompetas, flautas, cítaras, liras, arpas, zampoñas y otros instrumentos musicales, deberán inclinarse y adorar la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha mandado erigir.
