27 Ma quant’è a voi, l’unzione che avete ricevuta da lui dimora in voi, e non avete bisogno che alcuno v’insegni; ma siccome l’unzione sua v’insegna ogni cosa, ed è verace, e non è menzogna, dimorate in lui, come essa vi ha insegnato.

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
28 Ed ora, figliuoletti, dimorate in lui, affinché, quando egli apparirà, abbiam confidanza e alla sua venuta non abbiam da ritrarci da lui, coperti di vergogna.

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
