1 The LORD spoke to Moses: 1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 Command the Israelites and say to them: Make sure to offer to me my offering, my food, my food gift as a soothing smell to me at its appointed time. 2 "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.'
3 You will say to them: This is the food gift that you must present to the LORD: two flawless one-year-old lambs as the regular entirely burned offering every day. 3 Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD: two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.
4 One lamb you will offer in the morning and the second at twilight, 4 Prepare one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,
5 with a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil. 5 together with a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil from pressed olives.
6 It is the regular entirely burned offering begun at Mount Sinai, a food gift that is a soothing smell to the LORD. 6 This is the regular burnt offering instituted at Mount Sinai as a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
7 Their drink offering will be a fourth of a hin for each lamb. In the sanctuary a drink offering of brandy will be poured out for the LORD. 7 The accompanying drink offering is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the LORD at the sanctuary.
8 The second lamb you will offer at twilight like the grain offering and the drink offering in the morning. You will offer a food gift that is a soothing smell to the LORD. 8 Prepare the second lamb at twilight, along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. This is an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
9 On the Sabbath day: two flawless one-year-old male lambs and two-tenths of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering. 9 " 'On the Sabbath day, make an offering of two lambs a year old without defect, together with its drink offering and a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil.
10 This is the entirely burned offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular entirely burned offering and its drink offering. 10 This is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
11 At the beginning of every month you will present an entirely burned offering to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven one-year-old male lambs, all flawless. 11 " 'On the first of every month, present to the LORD a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
12 Use three-tenths of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with oil for each bull, two-tenths of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with oil for each ram, 12 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, a grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil;
13 and one-tenth of fine flour for a grain offering mixed with oil for each lamb. It is an entirely burned offering with a soothing smell, a food gift to the LORD. 13 and with each lamb, a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil. This is for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.
14 Their drink offerings will be half a hin of wine for a bull, a third a hin of wine for a ram, and a fourth a hin of wine for a lamb. This is the monthly entirely burned offering for every month through the months of the year. 14 With each bull there is to be a drink offering of half a hin of wine; with the ram, a third of a hin; and with each lamb, a quarter of a hin. This is the monthly burnt offering to be made at each new moon during the year.
15 There will be one male goat for a purification offering to the LORD in addition to the regular entirely burned offering and its drink offering. 15 Besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering, one male goat is to be presented to the LORD as a sin offering.
16 On the fourteenth day of the first month there will be a Passover offering to the LORD. 16 " 'On the fourteenth day of the first month the LORD's Passover is to be held.
17 On the fifteenth day of this month there will be a festival. For seven days unleavened bread will be eaten. 17 On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days eat bread made without yeast.
18 The first day will be a holy occasion. You will not do any job-related work. 18 On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
19 You will bring a food gift, an entirely burned offering to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old. They will be flawless. 19 Present to the LORD an offering made by fire, a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.
20 Their grain offering will be fine flour mixed with oil. You will offer three-tenths for the bull, two-tenths for the ram, 20 With each bull prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
21 and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs, 21 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
22 along with one male goat for a purification offering to seek reconciliation for yourselves. 22 Include one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
23 You will offer these in addition to the entirely burned offering of the morning, which is the regular entirely burned offering. 23 Prepare these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering.
24 Like these, you will also offer each day for seven days a food gift as a soothing smell to the LORD. It will be offered in addition to the regular entirely burned offering and its drink offering. 24 In this way prepare the food for the offering made by fire every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the LORD; it is to be prepared in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
25 The seventh day will be a holy occasion for you. You will not do any job-related work. 25 On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
26 The day of the early produce, when you present your new grain offering to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks, will be a holy occasion for you. You will not do any job-related work. 26 " 'On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the LORD an offering of new grain during the Feast of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.
27 You will present an entirely burned offering as a soothing smell to the LORD: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old. 27 Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
28 Their grain offering will be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths for each bull, two-tenths for the one ram, 28 With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;
29 and one-tenth for each of the seven lambs. 29 and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.
30 Offer one male goat to seek reconciliation for yourselves. 30 Include one male goat to make atonement for you.
31 You will offer these in addition to the regular entirely burned offering, its grain offering and drink offerings. They will be flawless. 31 Prepare these together with their drink offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering and its grain offering. Be sure the animals are without defect.
