1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! 1 Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! 2 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! 3 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4 Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 4 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
5 Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, 5 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
6 O seed of Abraham His servant, You children of Jacob, His chosen ones! 6 O descendants of Abraham his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. 7 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers His covenant forever, The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations, 8 He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac, 9 the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant, 10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan As the allotment of your inheritance," 11 "To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit."
12 When they were few in number, Indeed very few, and strangers in it. 12 When they were but few in number, few indeed, and strangers in it,
13 When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people, 13 they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
14 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, 14 He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:
15 Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm." 15 "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm."
16 Moreover He called for a famine in the land; He destroyed all the provision of bread. 16 He called down famine on the land and destroyed all their supplies of food;

45 That they might observe His statutes And keep His laws. Praise the Lord! 45 that they might keep his precepts and observe his laws. Praise the LORD.
