Lexham English Bible (LEB) New International Version (NIV)
Yahweh is my shepherd; I will not lack [for anything]. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; by quiet waters he leads me. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my life. He leads me in {correct paths} for the sake of his name. 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even when I walk in a dark valley, I fear no evil because you [are] with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me
You prepare before me a table in the presence of my oppressors. You anoint my head with oil; my cup [is] overflowing. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and loyal love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will stay in the house of Yahweh {for a very long time}. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
