serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials which befell me through the plots of the Jews; 19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews.

Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God which he obtained with the blood of his own Son. 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.
I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.
and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.
Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.
And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. 32 "Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
I coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. 33 I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing.
You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities, and to those who were with me. 34 You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.
In all things I have shown you that by so toiling one must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'
