Third Millennium Bible (TMB) New International Version (NIV)
Moreover He said unto me, "Son of man, eat what thou findest: eat this scroll, and go, speak unto the house of Israel." 1 And he said to me, "Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the house of Israel."
So I opened my mouth, and He caused me to eat that scroll. 2 So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.
And He said unto me, "Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this scroll that I give thee." Then did I eat it, and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. 3 Then he said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.
And He said unto me, "Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with My words unto them. 4 He then said to me: "Son of man, go now to the house of Israel and speak my words to them.
For thou art not sent to a people of strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel, 5 You are not being sent to a people of obscure speech and difficult language, but to the house of Israel--
not to many people of strange speech and of a hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. 6 not to many peoples of obscure speech and difficult language, whose words you cannot understand. Surely if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you.
