Genesis 33:1-6

HNV

NIV

1 Ya`akov lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esav was coming, and with him four hundred men. He divided the children between Le'ah, Rachel, and to the two handmaids.
1 Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; so he divided the children among Leah, Rachel and the two female servants.
2 He put the handmaids and their children in front, Le'ah and her children after, and Rachel and Yosef at the rear.
2 He put the female servants and their children in front, Leah and her children next, and Rachel and Joseph in the rear.
3 He himself passed over in front of them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.
3 He himself went on ahead and bowed down to the ground seven times as he approached his brother.
4 Esav ran to meet him, embraced him, fell on his neck, kissed him, and they wept.
4 But Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept.
5 He lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, "Who are these with you?" He said, "The children whom God has graciously given your servant."
5 Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. “Who are these with you?” he asked. Jacob answered, “They are the children God has graciously given your servant.”
6 Then the handmaids came near with their children, and they bowed themselves.
6 Then the female servants and their children approached and bowed down.
