Third Millennium Bible (TMB) New International Version (NIV)
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in times past unto the fathers by the prophets, 1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed Heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
being made so much better than the angels, as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 4 So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
For unto which of the angels said God at any time, "Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten Thee"? And again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son"? 5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father " ? Or again, "I will be his Father, and he will be my Son" ?
And again, when He bringeth in the First-Begotten into the world, He saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him." 6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship him."
