NIV

1 Flee for safety, you children of Binyamin, out of the midst of Yerushalayim, and blow the shofar in Tekoa, and raise up a signal on Beit-Hakkerem; for evil looks forth from the north, and a great destruction.
1 “Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Sound the trumpet in Tekoa! Raise the signal over Beth Hakkerem! For disaster looms out of the north, even terrible destruction.
2 The comely and delicate one, the daughter of Tziyon, will I cut off.
2 I will destroy Daughter Zion, so beautiful and delicate.
3 Shepherds with their flocks shall come to her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed everyone in his place.
3 Shepherds with their flocks will come against her; they will pitch their tents around her, each tending his own portion.”
4 Prepare you war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe to us! for the day declines, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.
4 “Prepare for battle against her! Arise, let us attack at noon! But, alas, the daylight is fading, and the shadows of evening grow long.
5 Arise, and let us go up by night, and let us destroy her palaces.
5 So arise, let us attack at night and destroy her fortresses!”
6 For thus has the LORD of Hosts said, Hew you down trees, and cast up a mound against Yerushalayim: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.
6 This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Cut down the trees and build siege ramps against Jerusalem. This city must be punished; it is filled with oppression.
7 As a well casts forth its waters, so she casts forth her wickedness: violence and destruction is heard in her; before me continually is sickness and wounds.
7 As a well pours out its water, so she pours out her wickedness. Violence and destruction resound in her; her sickness and wounds are ever before me.
