New Living Translation (NLT) New International Version (NIV)
Then the LORD said to Job, 1 The LORD said to Job:
"Do you still want to argue with the Almighty? You are God's critic, but do you have the answers?" 2 "Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him!"
Then Job replied to the LORD, 3 Then Job answered the LORD:
"I am nothing -- how could I ever find the answers? I will put my hand over my mouth in silence. 4 "I am unworthy--how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.
I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say." 5 I spoke once, but I have no answer-- twice, but I will say no more."
Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind: 6 Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm:
"Brace yourself, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. 7 "Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.
