33 But a certain Shomroni, as he journeyed, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.
34 came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

37 He said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Yeshua said to him, "Go and do likewise."
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
38 It happened as they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Marta received him into her house.
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him.
39 She had a sister called Miryam, who also sat at Yeshua' feet, and heard his word.
39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said.
40 But Marta was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, "Lord, don't you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me."
40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
41 Yeshua answered her, "Marta, Marta, you are anxious and troubled about many things,
41 “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things,
42 but one thing is needed. Miryam has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her."
42 but few things are needed—or indeed only one.Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
