Common English Bible (CEB) New International Version (NIV)
On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
As he entered a village, ten men with skin diseases approached him. Keeping their distance from him, 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
they raised their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, show us mercy!" 13 and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"
When Jesus saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." As they left, they were cleansed. 14 When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.
One of them, when he saw that he had been healed, returned and praised God with a loud voice. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.
He fell on his face at Jesus' feet and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. 16 He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan.
Jesus replied, "Weren't ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 17 Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
No one returned to praise God except this foreigner?" 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"
Then Jesus said to him, "Get up and go. Your faith has healed you." 19 Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."
