and sent them to the Lord, asking, "Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?" 19 he sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?"
When the men reached Him, they said, "John the Baptist sent us to ask You, 'Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?' 21 At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, plagues, and evil spirits, and He granted sight to many blind people. 21 At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind.
He replied to them, "Go and report to John the things you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news preached to them. 22 So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and far more than a prophet. 26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
This is the one it is written about: Look, I am sending My messenger ahead of You; he will prepare Your way before You. 27 This is the one about whom it is written: " 'I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'
I tell you, among those born of women no one is greater than John, but the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he." 28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."
(And when all the people, including the tax collectors, heard this, they acknowledged God's way of righteousness, because they had been baptized with John's baptism. 29 (All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus' words, acknowledged that God's way was right, because they had been baptized by John.
