Romans 12:1-10

WBT

NIV

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service.
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
3 For through the grace given to me, I say, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
7 Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching:
7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.
8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
9 [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
10 [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;
10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
