This is the reason that I have so often been hindered from coming to you. 22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.
But now, with no further place for me in these regions, I desire, as I have for many years, to come to you 23 But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to see you,
when I go to Spain. For I do hope to see you on my journey and to be sent on by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a little while. 24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to visit you while passing through and to have you assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while.
At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem in a ministry to the saints; 25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the saints there.
for Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to share their resources with the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.
They were pleased to do this, and indeed they owe it to them; for if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material things. 27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.
So, when I have completed this, and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will set out by way of you to Spain; 28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this fruit, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way.
and I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ. 29 I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.
