Bible in Basic English (BBE) New International Version (NIV)
But now without the law there is a revelation of the righteousness of God, to which witness is given by the law and the prophets; 21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
That is, the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all those who have faith; and one man is not different from another, 22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,
For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
And they may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the salvation which is in Christ Jesus: 24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Whom God has put forward as the sign of his mercy, through faith, by his blood, to make clear his righteousness when, in his pity, God let the sins of earlier times go without punishment; 25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--
And to make clear his righteousness now, so that he might himself be upright, and give righteousness to him who has faith in Jesus. 26 he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
