CSB 1 First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, NIV 1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- CSB 2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. CSB 9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense; not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel, NIV 9 I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, CSB 10 but with good works, as is proper for women who affirm that they worship God. CSB 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. NIV 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. CSB 15 But she will be saved through childbearing, if she continues in faith, love, and holiness, with good sense. NIV 15 But women will be saved through childbearing--if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety.
