1 Corinthians 13:7-13

WNT 7 She knows how to be silent. She is full of trust, full of hope, full of patient endurance. NIV 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. WNT 8 Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be done away with; if there are languages, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be brought to an end. NIV 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. WNT 9 For our knowledge is imperfect, and so is our prophesying; NIV 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, WNT 10 but when the perfect state of things is come, all that is imperfect will be brought to an end. NIV 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. WNT 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, felt like a child, reasoned like a child: when I became a man, I put from me childish ways. NIV 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. WNT 12 For the present we see things as if in a mirror, and are puzzled; but then we shall see them face to face. For the present the knowledge I gain is imperfect; but then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. NIV 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. WNT 13 And so there remain Faith, Hope, Love--these three; and of these the greatest is Love. NIV 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
