1 Corinthians 16:1-7

ESV 1 Now concerningthe collection for the saints: as I directed the churches of Galatia, so you also are to do. NIV 1 Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. ESV 2 On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come. NIV 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. ESV 3 And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem. NIV 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. ESV 4 If it seems advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me. NIV 4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me. ESV 5 I will visit you after passing through Macedonia, for I intend to pass through Macedonia, NIV 5 After I go through Macedonia, I will come to you--for I will be going through Macedonia. ESV 6 and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may help me on my journey, wherever I go.
