1 Peter 4:7-11

NRS 7 The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers. NIV 7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. NRS 8 Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. NIV 8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. NRS 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining. NIV 9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. NRS 10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. NIV 10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. NRS 11 Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen. NIV 11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
