1 Timothy 2:1-8

RSV 1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, NIV 1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- RSV 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way.
