11 Und Salomo führte die Tochter des Pharao aus der Stadt Davids herauf in das Haus, das er ihr gebaut hatte; denn er sprach: Mein Weib soll nicht in dem Hause Davids, des Königs von Israel, wohnen; denn die Orte sind heilig, in welche die Lade Jehovas gekommen ist.

Solomon brought Pharaoh’s daughter up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her, for he said, “My wife must not live in the palace of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the LORD has entered are holy.”
