17 Der König hatte aber den Anführer, auf dessen Hand er sich lehnte, über das Tor bestellt; und das Volk zertrat ihn im Tore, und er starb, so wie der Mann Gottes geredet hatte, wie er geredet hatte, als der König zu ihm herabkam.

Now the king had put the officer on whose arm he leaned in charge of the gate, and the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to his house.
