6 Elie lui dit: Reste ici, je te prie, car l'Eternel m'envoie au Jourdain. Il répondit: L'Eternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! je ne te quitterai point. Et ils poursuivirent tous deux leur chemin.

Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here; the LORD has sent me to the Jordan.” And he replied, “As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them walked on.
