2 Corinthians 4:13-18

NAS 13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I BELIEVED, THEREFORE I SPOKE," we also believe, therefore we also speak, NIV 13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, NAS 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. NIV 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. NAS 15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. NIV 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. NAS 16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. NIV 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. NAS 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, NIV 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. NAS 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. NIV 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
