2 Kings 15:32-38

RSV 32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remali'ah, king of Israel, Jotham the son of Uzzi'ah, king of Judah, began to reign. NIV 32 In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah began to reign. RSV 33 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jeru'sha the daughter of Zadok. NIV 33 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. His mother's name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok. RSV 34 And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzzi'ah had done. NIV 34 He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father Uzziah had done. RSV 35 Nevertheless the high places were not removed; the people still sacrificed and burned incense on the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD. NIV 35 The high places, however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate of the temple of the LORD. RSV 36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah? NIV 36 As for the other events of Jotham's reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? RSV 37 In those days the LORD began to send Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remali'ah against Judah. NIV 37 (In those days the LORD began to send Rezin king of Aram and Pekah son of Remaliah against Judah.) RSV 38 Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead. NIV 38 Jotham rested with his fathers and was buried with them in the City of David, the city of his father. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.
