2 Kings 8:16-18

NLT 16 Jehoram son of King Jehoshaphat of Judah began to rule over Judah in the fifth year of the reign of Joram son of Ahab, king of Israel. NIV 16 In the fifth year of Joram son of Ahab king of Israel, when Jehoshaphat was king of Judah, Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat began his reign as king of Judah. NLT 17 Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. NIV 17 He was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years. NLT 18 But Jehoram followed the example of the kings of Israel and was as wicked as King Ahab, for he had married one of Ahab’s daughters. So Jehoram did what was evil in the ’s sight. NIV 18 He walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD.
