2 Y ahora te declararé la verdad: He aquí, se levantarán tres reyes más en Persia, y un cuarto rey obtendrá muchas más riquezas que todos ellos. Cuando éste se haya hecho fuerte con sus riquezas, incitará a todo el imperio contra el reino de Grecia.

“Now then, I tell you the truth: Three more kings will arise in Persia, and then a fourth, who will be far richer than all the others. When he has gained power by his wealth, he will stir up everyone against the kingdom of Greece.
3 Se levantará entonces un rey poderoso que gobernará con gran autoridad y hará lo que le plazca.

Then a mighty king will arise, who will rule with great power and do as he pleases.
4 Pero cuando se haya levantado, su reino será fragmentado y repartido hacia los cuatro vientos del cielo, no a sus descendientes, ni según el poder que ejerció, pues su reino será arrancado y dado a otros fuera de ellos.

After he has arisen, his empire will be broken up and parceled out toward the four winds of heaven. It will not go to his descendants, nor will it have the power he exercised, because his empire will be uprooted and given to others.
