7 Nevertheless listen please [to] this word that I [am] speaking in your {hearing} and in the {hearing} of all the people,
7 Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
8 The prophets who were {before} me and {before} you from ancient [times] prophesied against many countries and against great kingdoms of war, and of disaster, and of plague.
8 From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.
9 The prophet who prophesies peace, at the coming of the word of the prophet, will become known [as] the prophet that Yahweh has {truly} sent."

13 “Go and tell Hananiah, ‘This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron.
14 For thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, "I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations, to serve Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and they will serve him, and I have even given the animals of the open field to him." '"
