Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire— but my ears you have opened — burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.

Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Then I said, “Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll.

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”
