Acts 20:26-36

NRS 26 Therefore I declare to you this day that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you, NIV 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men. NRS 27 for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God. NIV 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. NRS 28 Keep watch over yourselves and over all the flock, of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God that he obtained with the blood of his own Son. NIV 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. NRS 29 I know that after I have gone, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. NIV 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. NRS 30 Some even from your own group will come distorting the truth in order to entice the disciples to follow them. NIV 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. NRS 31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to warn everyone with tears. NIV 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. NRS 32 And now I commend you to God and to the message of his grace, a message that is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all who are sanctified. NRS 33 I coveted no one's silver or gold or clothing. NIV 33 I have not coveted anyone's silver or gold or clothing. NRS 34 You know for yourselves that I worked with my own hands to support myself and my companions. NIV 34 You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. NRS 35 In all this I have given you an example that by such work we must support the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, for he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " NIV 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' " NRS 36 When he had finished speaking, he knelt down with them all and prayed. NIV 36 When he had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.
