1 El Cordero abre el rollo<br />Luego vi un rollo<br /> en la mano derecha de aquel que estaba sentado en el trono. El rollo estaba escrito por dentro y por fuera, y sellado con siete sellos.

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
2 Vi a un ángel poderoso, que proclamaba con fuerte voz: «¿Quién es digno de romper los sellos de este rollo y abrirlo?».

And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?”
3 Pero nadie en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra podía abrir el rollo y leerlo.

But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
4 Entonces comencé a llorar amargamente porque no se encontraba a nadie digno de abrir el rollo y leerlo;

I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
5 pero uno de los veinticuatro ancianos me dijo: «¡Deja de llorar! Mira, el León de la tribu de Judá, el heredero del trono de David,<br /> ha ganado la victoria. Él es digno de abrir el rollo y sus siete sellos».

Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Entonces vi a un Cordero que parecía que había sido sacrificado, pero que ahora estaba de pie entre el trono y los cuatro seres vivientes y en medio de los veinticuatro ancianos. Tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos que representan los siete aspectos del Espíritu<br /> de Dios, el cual es enviado a todas las partes de la tierra.

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 Él pasó adelante y tomó el rollo de la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono.

He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
8 Y cuando tomó el rollo, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero. Cada uno tenía un arpa y llevaba copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones del pueblo de Dios.

And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.
9 Y cantaban un nuevo canto con las siguientes palabras:<br />«Tú eres digno de tomar el rollo<br />y de romper los sellos y abrirlo.<br />Pues tú fuiste sacrificado y tu sangre pagó el rescate para Dios<br />de gente de todo pueblo, tribu, lengua y nación.

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 Y la has transformado<br />en un reino de sacerdotes para nuestro Dios.<br />Y reinarán<br /> sobre la tierra».

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
11 Entonces volví a mirar y oí las voces de miles de millones de ángeles alrededor del trono y de los seres vivientes y de los ancianos.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
12 Ellos cantaban en un potente coro:<br />«Digno es el Cordero que fue sacrificado,<br />de recibir el poder y las riquezas<br />y la sabiduría y la fuerza<br />y el honor y la gloria y la bendición».

In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
13 Y entonces oí a toda criatura en el cielo, en la tierra, debajo de la tierra y en el mar que cantaban:<br />«Bendición y honor y gloria y poder<br />le pertenecen a aquel que está sentado en el trono<br />y al Cordero por siempre y para siempre».

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
14 Y los cuatro seres vivientes decían: «¡Amén!». Y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron y adoraron al Cordero.

The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
