YLT 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, to the saints who are in Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: NIV 1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: YLT 2 Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ! NIV 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. YLT 3 Blessed [is] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who did bless us in every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, NIV 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. YLT 4 according as He did choose us in him before the foundation of the world, for our being holy and unblemished before Him, in love, NIV 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love YLT 5 having foreordained us to the adoption of sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, NIV 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- YLT 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He did make us accepted in the beloved, NIV 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
